“Loyalty Scheme” Terms and Conditions

Collecting Points

Loyalty points are awarded on the basis of 1 point for every £1 spent on products (not including postage or delivery)

Each Loyalty Point is worth £0.01.

You must spend at least £1 for that transaction to qualify for points.

Discretionary Loyalty Points may be awarded from time to time

We may award additional points on promotional items or during a specific period but we reserve the right to limit the amount of additional points that can be awarded

To collect points for a transaction in-store, your card must be presented at the checkout before purchase.

You must have created and be logged into your account to earn Loyalty Points online – we cannot retrospectively add Loyalty points to your account

When purchases that have earned or have been made using Loyalty Points are returned for a refund, an adjustment for the value of the Loyalty Points will be made to the amount refunded

Redeeming Points

The current value of points is £0.01 for every 1 point. 

Points may be redeemed off future purchases once you have collected sufficient points. This is currently set at 100 points.

Points have no expiry date but shall be cancelled if membership is cancelled for any reason

Loyalty points are non-transferable and cannot be traded in any way

You must have created and be logged into your account to redeem loyalty points online – we cannot retrospectively deduct points from your account

No cash alternative is available

Membership

The “Loyalty Scheme” is open to UK residents aged over 18 years

The scheme is only open to personal customers. Trade Customers cannot join the scheme

We reserve the right to refuse and application for membership to either scheme at our absolute discretion

By using the “Loyalty Scheme” you accept these terms and conditions

You are required to inform Bow Wow Pets of any changes to your email, name or address details

Data Protection

Under the “Loyalty Scheme” we will create and maintain a database of information, including details on how you use your card and what you buy.

Card information that we may hold on our Loyalty Scheme  members may include

- Contact details (including your residential address and email address) and other application details and transactional details
- Any other personal data supplied by you such as information about any animals owned by you

Data will be held, used and updated in order to :

-Manage the “Loyalty Scheme”  
-Develop and improve our products and services
-Send periodic promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided
-From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes

We will not send or sell your information to any third parties without your express permission

If you do not want us to use your information to contact with information about goods and services as outlined above you can write to us at Bow Wow Pets, Unit 12E, Airport Industrial Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 2EF. Please note that refusal of consent may mean that certain services and benefits may no longer be available to the member.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold on you by writing to us at Bow Wow Pets, Unit 12E, Airport Industrial Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 2EF and enclosing an administration fee of £10

Loss or Theft of Card

You must immediately notify us in writing of the loss, theft or unauthorised use of your card. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that your card is kept secure and is not used by any unauthorised persons. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or unauthorised use of your Card

Cancellation of membership

You may cancel your membership of either scheme at any time by writing to us at Bow Wow Pets, Unit 12E, Airport Industrial Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 2EF.We will immediately cancel your membership of the scheme(s) and any current points will be cancelled.

Other

Both schemes are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

We reserve the right to withdraw, cancel, vary or alter either of the schemes at any time. 

We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time and shall give as much notice to you as reasonably practical.  Earning or redeeming points will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions
